On Thursday afternoon a fur clad Troy Ave dropped by The Angie Martinez show where talked about his smash hit 'Doo Doo', recently becoming a father, his Rolex obsession and straightening out his issues with 50 Cent.

On his hit 'Doo Doo' the Brooklyn rapper says he did the inspirational track for the people and the non-believers equally.

"There was a lot of doubters" he says. "I did purposely because that's what I'm doing to the haters. It's an inspirational song for the people."

Troy also talks about recently becoming a father to a baby boy two weeks ago, how he's already planning on getting the newborn his first Rolex "time piece" and how will be wearing one for his kindergarten graduation.

He also goes on to tell us how his infatuation with Rolex watches came to be after his grandfather introduced him to one when he was only 8-years-old.

When Angie asked how his block is treating nowadays, Troy says: "I'm getting treated good, I get overwhelming love in the hood. OD love in these Brooklyn street, it's overwhelming."

The only place Troy says he gets hate from, is the internet but he doesn't really count that as real hate because "that's fake to me, that's not real" he says.

On his past issues with 50 Cent, Troy says things were a little shaky before, but he and 50 had a talk and he's even getting money thanks to 50.

"I hollered at him, pulled him to the side. He told me where the energy came from initially or whatever and we just chopped it up from there." he says.

Troy goes on to admit that 50 was in fact his "favorite rapper" and the reason why he even started rapping. "If he wasn't around, I wouldn't be here." says Troy.

He tells Angie that after his talk with 50, the rap mogul even put one of Troy's song on his television show Power.

Troy also updates us on his upcoming album and how he is dropping it with a "money back guarantee" which means he is willing to return fans their money via PayPal if they are not happy with the album.
